Food and cooking has always been a passion of mine since I was a young kid. My Cuban grandmother lived with my family when I was younger. I’ll never forget the scents that engulfed the house when she would cook her signature Cuban dishes. My favorites were picadillo, ropa vieja and of course black beans and rice, which I still make often today. Although, I could never make them as well as she does.
After years of working in an office I wanted to try something different where I could do something everyday that I loved because sitting in a cubicle wasn’t doing it for me. I took a chance by quitting my job and started my first gig as a cook at Slate Bleu in Doylestown, PA. I have worked in some of the best kitchens in Bucks County including The Inn at Barley Sheaf, Heirloom, Vela, and Solstice.
Working such long hours in a restaurant I wanted to create Navarro Private Chef Services to bring some of my favorite dishes into the comfort of peoples’ homes and create a memorable dining experience for special occasions that mean something for the people I serve. I simply love what I do not just because I get more time to spend with my family but I am able to get to know the families of the clients I serve whether it be a private dinner or regular meal preparation. After doing a few dinners for friends and family celebrating important milestones and experimenting new dishes, the idea of Navarro Private Chef Services came to be.
Whether I am cooking for you for a brunch or dinner, or preparing meals to be reheated for you during the week, I hold myself to the highest standard in making sure that your food is cooked and prepared to perfection.

Food has always been at the heart of my life. Being of Cuban and Puerto Rican descent, some of my earliest memories are in the kitchen, watching my Mom cook dishes she learned from my grandparents Nereida and Ernesto Gonzales. My journey as a chef lead me to Northampton Community College where I earned an Associate’s degree and a Certificate in Culinary Arts learning the fundamentals of French cuisine and the building blocks of professional cooking. I have worked in a variety of restaurants from fast-casual to upscale dining, from my college dining hall, to Buffalo Wild Wings, to Supervisor at Terrain Cafe. I also learned various cuisines working as sous chef at Mr. Lee’s Noodles at the Easton Public Market, and spending time cooking at Zest and Silver Shell. Growing tired of the restaurant lifestyle, I have shifted my focus to bringing restaurant-quality meals directly into peoples’ homes. Now, as a private chef, I get to combine my technical skills with a more personal approach offering in-home meal preparation, drop-off meal preparation, and intimate in home dining experiences.
Whether I’m making a Cuban dish or crafting something entirely different, nothing makes me happier than creating meals that bring people together. I look forward to cooking for you.

We celebrated my husband's birthday with family and an absolutely amazing 7-course tasting menu by Adam. From the initial phone call for organizing/brainstorming to the sample menus, his willingness to travel, and most importantly the execution of the meal, the entire process was extremely simple and the food was exceptional. The food was beautifully presented with creative flavor combinations and high-quality ingredients. Adam could legit have a Michelin star it was that good. Our family will not stop raving about the meal! I'm sure we'll be booking again in the near future.

I hired Chef Adam to cook a private dinner to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. He was so easy to work with and very accommodating. It was fun working with him to tailor a menu and the meal for 8 was flawless. The food and service were both amazing and he had our kitchen looking spotless by the time we were done eating (which blew my mind). Above all, he was enjoyable to have around. Having a stranger in our home felt oddly comfortable due to his warm and engaging personality. This was my first time hiring a private chef and I'm so glad we chose Chef Adam. Can't wait to plan another event with him!

We hosted a family staycation at our house and decided to have chef Adam come and cook for us. We had a five course meal that was delicious. Adam was very professional. He communicated with us throughout the weeks prior to our event and was very careful about some of our dietary needs. We will definitely have him come again to our house. Thanks so much Adam. :)

Mother’s Day this year,was simply the best! The reason, Adam and his exquisite cooking! He prepared a 4 course meal for 4 mother’s making us feel like royalty! The meal was delicious..& looked fabulous. He’s our #1 Personal Chef. We can’t wait to schedule another event! Thank You Adam for making our day.

Chef Adam created a wonderful birthday dinner and evening for my husband’s birthday celebration. A few months of planning and Chef Adam was informative, communicative and arrived in plenty of time for the celebration to begin. The detail and presentation was perfect and spot on for what I was looking for my husband Donald. We were even able to have Donald participate in the dessert course, creating the delicious flourless chocolate cake. We could not have asked for a better Chef pick, amazing delicious meal and fun night. We enjoyed our interaction with Chef Adam extremely nice, very helpful and organized for making our invent come alive with a four course meal. We will definitely refer him and use Chef Adam again to make fun events perfect.

I hired Chef Adam to cook for a holiday party in December for 12 guests. He was so easy to work with and extremely accommodating. The food and service were top tier! All of my guests loved it and it was such a treat. Can't wait to work with him again!
